The Swax Lax Story
Coach Laura Gump's idea of creating Swax Lax, a soft lacrosse training ball, is now seen as a game-changer for the sport and is hailed by the lacrosse community as an excellent training tool for new players of all ages because it enables them to learn the game with more confidence and less fear of the ball. The balls are also ideal for indoor training since they don’t bounce, roll very far, or harm hardwood gym floors.

250K Balls and 3 Candles Equal a Very Happy Birthday
Help us raise a stick in celebration of Swax Lax’s 3rd birthday! We wouldn’t be where we are today without the enthusiastic support of our early adopters and fans. Thanks to the coaches who came up and hugged me at LaxCon for "building a better mousetrap," to the parents who told me they no longer yell at their son or daughter for playing in the house, and to the players who are now allowed to practice in the gym. We could not have done it without you!

Vote for Inventor Laura Gump
As you may have read online or in a recent e-blast, I was recently selected as a finalist for the "Visionary of the Year" award for my role in creating Swax Lax and Swax Lax Lacrosse camps and clinics. The award finalists were presented by B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow), a national organization dedicated to building entrepreneurship and leadership opportunities for women of all ages.
