Banner at Platypus Lacrosse Festival Madison NJOn May 30–31 Swax Lax hosted a booth at the Platypus Lacrosse Festival in Madison, NJ. More than 60 teams from grades 4–7 participated at the festival, which was hosted by the Madison Jr. Boys Lacrosse Club and was held at Madison High School.

Swax Lax lacrosse training balls received a lot of attention from the players and their families because of their safety appeal. Parents at the festival appreciated that these balls were an alternative to regular lacrosse balls because they are softer, yet still have the same playing effect. Parents also loved the no-bounce aspect of the ball because their children often play with lacrosse balls in the house or near the street.

A fifth-grade goalie commented how using these balls for training would help his safety as a goalie, especially when his seventh grade brother shoots on him at home — poor guy!

Swax Lax Lacrosse Training Balls at Platypus, Madison NJSwax Lax balls are the same size and weight as a regular lacrosse ball, which allows for effective training. Lacrosse players can avoid developing bad habits, which can occur from training with a tennis ball or other lightweight balls.

As of today, Swax Lax lacrosse training balls are scheduled to be sold at four upcoming tournaments: Lax By the Sea (June 13–14), FLG Lacrosse (June 13–14), Lax For the Cure (June 26–28), and Jersey Shootout (July 11-12). We hope to see you there —and we’d love for you to try a Swax Lax lacrosse training ball.
